Licence & credit
Everything George publishes on Pexels is covered by the Pexels licence. Here’s what that means in plain English, and how to credit him if you’d like to.
Credit line
Credit isn’t required under the Pexels licence, but George always appreciates it. If you use one of his images, you can copy this line:

Good to know
- Download from Pexels itself. The previews on this site are loaded from Pexels and are smaller than the originals.
- Some images show identifiable people, brands or private places. The Pexels licence says you mustn’t show people in a bad light or imply endorsement. For advertising or other sensitive uses, take your own advice on whether extra permissions are needed.
- Want something the licence doesn’t cover, or a specific shot of London? Ask George.
This page is a summary, not legal advice. The licence published at pexels.com/license is the one that applies. Checked 20 October 2026.
