Terms
Website terms
The plain-English terms for using georgemorina.co.uk.
Who runs this site
This website is run by George Morina, a self-employed digital media consultant based in London. You can contact George at [email protected]. By using the site, you accept these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.
Using the site
You’re welcome to browse the site and share links to it. Please don’t misuse it: for example, don’t try to get unauthorised access to it, interfere with how it works, or use it for anything unlawful. We may change, suspend or remove the site, or any part of it, at any time.
Information on the site
The content on this site, including the answers on the Questions page, is general information. It isn’t professional, legal or financial advice for your situation. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we can’t promise that it is complete, correct or current, so please check anything important before you rely on it.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, such as Pexels and social media profiles. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link doesn’t mean we endorse a site.
Photos, videos and other content
Unless stated otherwise, the text, photos and videos on this site are George Morina’s own work and are protected by copyright. Please don’t copy or reuse them from this site without permission.
The London photos and videos that George shares on Pexels as a hobby are separate: they’re covered by the Pexels licence when you download them from Pexels. See Licence & credit for a short summary.
Commissioned work
These terms cover use of the website only. Any work George does for you, such as a website, social media, branding, photography or video, is covered by a separate written quote or agreement, including what is included, the price, and who holds the rights to the finished work.
Our liability
We provide the site free of charge and “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content, or for any indirect loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. If you’re a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
Privacy
How the site handles personal data is explained in the privacy notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date below, is the one that applies when you use the site.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
