For a new business that needs a proper website to start winning work.

  • Plan: a kick-off call, a written brief and a page plan, agreed before any design
  • Logo: 3 different logo designs to choose from, then 2 rounds of changes to the one you pick, with final files in SVG and high-resolution PNG, light and dark versions on a transparent background, a square icon, a full set of browser and phone icons, and a link-share image. Or your existing brand applied carefully
  • Social media pack: profile pictures sized for X, Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok, plus cover or banner images for the 3 platforms you choose
  • Design: 3 design ideas within 3 to 5 working days after we've agreed your plan and your deposit is in, then 2 rounds of changes to the one you pick
  • Pages: up to 8, for example Home, About, three Services pages and Contact, plus Privacy and Terms
  • Words: the words for every page, written for you from a conversation with you
  • Photos: your own photos, or licensed stock photos chosen to match each page, credited where the licence asks for it
  • Phones and tablets: built to work on phones, tablets and computers

Bespoke

For larger sites or anything that needs more than pages. Everything in Growth, plus a planning stage, a full brand identity and features quoted to suit you.

  • Planning stage: goals, customers and scope agreed in a paid planning stage (the £495 website audit, credited to your build)
  • Quote: a fixed written quote before any work starts
  • Logo and brand identity: 7 different logo designs to choose from, then 5 rounds of changes to the one you pick, with everything in Growth, plus a full brand identity or a refresh with simple brand guidelines, your logo on an email signature, a business card layout, and the editable source files
  • Social media pack: everything in the Growth social media pack, plus a full template set for each platform (posts, stories, reel covers, Instagram highlight covers, YouTube channel art and thumbnails, and LinkedIn posts), a one-page guide to using your brand on social media, and source files in SVG, plus PNG exports
  • Design: 3 design ideas within 3 to 5 working days after we've agreed your plan and your deposit is in, then 5 rounds of changes to the one you pick
  • Pages: 20 or more, or more complex work, with a written page plan
  • Content plan: launch articles or pages written for you
  • Photos: your own photos, or licensed stock photos chosen to match each page, credited where the licence asks for it
  • Phones and tablets: built to work on phones, tablets and computers
  • Accessibility: designed and checked against the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard
  • Speed: compressed images and lightweight pages, so your site loads quickly
  • Search basics and local search: everything in Growth
  • Features quoted to suit you: for example live booking, a small shop, a second language, or links to your other systems
  • Forms and enquiry tracking: everything in Growth
  • Preview site: a private preview so you can check everything before it goes live
  • Domain: registered in your name from day one, with the first year included
  • Hosting: included for the first year, with a security certificate (the padlock, https) and security settings. After that, hosting is with a Care Plan (from £49 a month), or you can move your site elsewhere at no charge.
  • Legal pages: a privacy notice, cookie information and a website terms page, written for your site from my standard templates and what you tell me, for you to check and approve. This isn't legal advice. If your site sells online, terms of sale, delivery and returns information and a cancellation form are also needed. These are quoted with the shop.
  • Launch: I check every page, form and link before your site goes live
  • Handover: your site files and accounts handed over to you once you've paid in full
  • Aftercare: 30 days of fixes after launch
  • Build time: usually 10 to 15 working days after you pick your design and I have everything I need, for the agreed scope. Your written quote confirms the timing.
Ask for a Bespoke quote

Build times count from when you pick your design. From booking, that's usually about 6 to 12 working days in total for Launch, 10 to 15 for Growth and 13 to 20 for Bespoke.

Prices are fixed. No VAT is charged, as Web Designer Limited is not VAT-registered. Work is carried out by Web Designer Limited, registered in England and Wales, company no. 15002899. I don't carry out trademark searches or registration, so please check your business name is free to use, for example with the UK Intellectual Property Office's free trade mark search. Social media images are sized to each platform's own guidance when they're delivered. I design them for you, but I don't post to or manage your accounts. The platforms are named only to show what the images are sized for. Web Designer Limited isn't connected with or endorsed by any of them.

How it works

From first call to launch

  1. We talk. A call to understand your business, your customers and what your website needs to do.
  2. I write a plan. You get a written brief, the pages and the price. Nothing starts until you're happy with it and you've paid the deposit.
  3. You see three designs. Within 3 to 5 working days after we've agreed your plan and your deposit is in, you get three design ideas and pick the one you like.
  4. I write and build your site. It takes 3 to 7 working days for Launch, 7 to 10 for Growth and 10 to 15 for Bespoke, counted from when you pick your design and I have everything I need. Your rounds of changes are included.
  5. We launch. I set up search, check everything works, and hand over your files and accounts.
  6. I stay with you. 30 days of fixes after launch, then an optional Care Plan if you'd like me to keep looking after it.

Money and timing

Paying and the launch date

You pay in three stages: 40% to book, 30% when you've picked your design, and 30% at launch. Each payment is due only when we reach that stage.

We agree your launch date in writing. If I miss it for reasons within my control, you get a credit of 5% of the package price for each working day it's late, up to 25%. The credit comes off your final payment or is refunded. You can also choose to end the project instead, and I'll refund what you've paid for any stage I haven't delivered. The date moves back by any time I'm waiting on you, for example for content, feedback or approvals.

“Working days” means Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England and Wales.

The times shown are typical. Your launch date is the one we agree in writing, and the late credit applies to that date.

Prices are fixed and include everything listed for each package. Anything outside the agreed plan is priced and agreed with you in writing before I do it.

Care Plans

Care Plans (optional, monthly)

Once your site is live, I can keep it fast, secure and up to date. Care Plans are monthly plans for looking after your site, separate from the Launch, Growth and Bespoke website packages.

Care Essential

£49 a month

hosting, your domain renewal, security and backups, and uptime checks. Includes up to 1 hour of website edits a month.

Care Growth

£99 a month

everything in Care Essential, plus a monthly Google search report. Includes up to 3 hours of website edits a month.

Care Pro

£149 a month

for Bespoke sites, bookings or shops: everything in Care Growth, plus fixes within 48 hours of you telling me about a problem, including weekends and bank holidays. If a fix needs longer, I'll tell you within that time and keep you updated. Includes up to 6 hours of website edits a month.

Unused hours don't carry over to the next month. Cancel any time by emailing me, and it stops at the end of the month you've paid for.

Care Plans are optional and separate from your website package. They roll monthly and are paid monthly in advance until you cancel. To cancel, send one email to info@georgemorina.co.uk. I'll confirm in writing, and your plan ends at the end of the month you've paid for. If you change your mind within 14 days of starting, you get a full refund. I'll remind you at least every 6 months what you pay and how to cancel. Before you pay, you'll see the full terms and tick a separate box to agree.

Hosting and your domain are included for the first year. After that, hosting carries on only with a Care Plan. There's no renewal fee. Your website and domain are yours, and your options after the first year are set out below.

Planning ahead

After year 1: what you pay and your hosting options

Your first year of hosting and your domain are included in your package price, and there's no renewal fee from me. At least 30 days before your first year ends, I'll email you to ask what you'd like to do next. You're never moved onto a Care Plan or charged without your agreement. If I don't hear back, I'll remind you again before your first year ends. You have three choices:

Move to a free host Nothing for hosting. Some hosts have free plans for simple sites. Sites with bookings, shops or other extra features usually need paid hosting. You renew your domain yourself, usually about £5 to £23 a year (including VAT). I send you a full copy of your website files, images and content, and help move your domain (already registered in your name) to the provider you choose, free of charge.
Move to a paid host Your new host's price, usually about £7 to £17 a month (including VAT) for shared hosting, plus your domain renewal, usually about £5 to £23 a year (including VAT). The same free copy of your files and the same help moving your domain.

If you leave, I keep a backup for 90 days after hosting stops, in case you need anything else, and then I delete it. If your plan included email on your domain, move your messages before the end of your first year, because the mailbox stops when hosting does. Your new provider may charge its own small fee to move your domain.

Email: a mailbox on your own domain is usually about £7 to £17 per person a month (including VAT) from a business email provider. If you only need messages forwarded to an inbox you already have, that can often be set up free.

Prices from other providers were checked in October 2026 and can change, so please check them with the provider.

Getting started

Before our first call

It helps if you can tell me:

  1. Your business name, and what you do in one or two sentences
  2. Who your customers are, and the area you cover
  3. What you want visitors to do: call, email, book or visit
  4. Two or three websites you like, and why
  5. Your logo and brand colours, if you have them
  6. Whether you already have a domain name, and who it's with
  7. Photos you own or have permission to use

Please don't send passwords or bank details by email. If I need access to an account, I'll explain a safe way to share it.

Terms

The terms, in plain English

A short summary. The full Terms apply if anything differs.

If you're buying as an individual

you can cancel within 14 days of agreeing to the project, without giving a reason. If you've asked me to start within those 14 days, you pay only for the work done up to the point you cancel. If you cancel before I deliver your first designs, you get a full refund. After that:

  • after your designs are delivered, but before you pick one: up to 40% of the price
  • after you pick a design, during the build: up to 70% of the price
  • once your site is launched and fully delivered: the right to cancel ends

Refunds are paid within 14 days. To cancel, email info@georgemorina.co.uk or use the model cancellation form. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

If you're buying as a business

business clients are on business terms, with no 14-day cooling-off. You can end the project at any time by email. If you end it before the designs are delivered, I refund your deposit in full. After that, you pay the stage payments already due. My total liability for each project is limited to the fees paid for that project, and I'm not liable for loss of profit, revenue or data, or for indirect loss. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Who owns what

once you've paid in full, Web Designer Limited assigns to you, in a signed written document, the copyright in your logo, your design and the content I created for your site, and hands over the files. Until then you may use them under licence. Photos, fonts and plugins from others stay under their own licences. I keep my general tools and reusable code, and you get a permanent, free licence to use them in your site.
